Mission

Our mission is to provide men with substance use disorder an opportunity to discover a new life in recovery through proven evidence based programs with a Christ centered emphasis.

History

Turning Point is a non-profit, in-house recovery center located 45 miles south of Birmingham on a peaceful 10-acre property.  We operate as a faith-based, Christ-centered, 90-day program for men struggling with substance use disorder.

For more than 30 years Turning Point has helped men break free from the bondage of addiction through the power of God's Word and 12 step recovery.  Residents discover freedom, joy, and peace by means of one-on-one counseling, group sessions and practical solutions that help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The campus offers a serene environment where the residents can focus on healing and recovery without distractions.  The dormitory provides comfortable housing for 30 residents.  The chapel is always open to the residents for prayer, meditation, praise, and worship.

Additional features of the campus include: a recreation room, media room, basketball/pickleball and volleyball courts, as well as a fishing pond.
